Propane Jurisdictional Systems

Federal and state laws on propane jurisdictional systems are often daunting and confusing, even for those that enforce them.   That is why PERC has developed an outreach document entitled Propane Jurisdictional Systems: A Guide to Understanding Basic Fundamentals & Requirements….a booklet to help propane marketers to recognize jurisdictional systems and what responsibilities are required of companies who install and service them.

“This document helps to clarify, combine and cross reference portions of Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 192, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 58 pamphlet, to provide some real guidance related to Jurisdictional Systems for the propane industry”, according to Jurisdictional System Task Force, Chairman, Randy Warner, Director of Retail Technical Operations, Ferrellgas, Liberty, MO.

Click here to down load a copy of the document.

Single complimentary hard copies may be requested by contacting Maria Passarella at maria.passarella@propanecouncil.org.  (Note: requests will be bundled and shipped accordingly, so please give approximately 2 weeks from the time your request is received)
