Initial OSHA & DOT First 90-Day Employee Hazmat Training

Federal regulations require employees who handle or transport hazardous materials to receive training within the first 90 days of their employment and refresher training every three years thereafter.

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) created an e-learning DVD and textbook titled Initial OSHA & DOT First 90-Day Employee Hazmat Training. It gives propane marketers a cost-effective and time-effective way to comply with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Transportation Department while providing their workforce with quality training.

The e-learning program, developed in the same e-learning format as several CETP courses, includes a free learning management system (LMS) called the Convergence Training Viewer (CTV) that allows propane marketers to track employee progress and manage e-learning training.
